Back to the future with the new LeJour Hammerhead Diver

LeJour's new Hammerhead dive watch collection had a stunning launch; The new collection was obviously exactly what the watchfam expected and needed. The green dial model was sold out within a few days but will be luckily restocked again. Just as Le Jour’s previous retro design inspired models like the Vintage Diver and Seacolt GMT, the New Hammerhead dive watch collection takes its design elements from the 1970s sports watches and combines it with modern technology and materials. The distinctive cushion case with a mix of satin brush and shiny polish finish, an eye-pleasing sunburst-dial with classic styled- and good visible hands and indices and a lume applied ceramic bezel will start growing on you quickly. However, it does not lose still its dignified dive watch touch and feel. The 42mm Cushion case and traditional three-link bracelet are made from 316L Stainless Steel. The Hammerhead is available in 4 combinations (001 Black/Black - 002 Blue/Blue - 003 Grey/Blue - (004 Green/Black currently sold out)) that are enhanced by the refined ceramic bezel inserts and dome sapphire crystal. The hands and indices are slightly deepened and filled with Swiss Super-Luminova for legibility in the dark, Hammerhead is designed for 200m Water Resistance and is powered by Trusted ETA 2824 Swiss Made Automatic movement.   Le Jour Hammerhead case brushed steel Le Jour Hammerhead case back shark A very typical signature from Le Jour is the detailed finish of the case back. Most dive watches have a plain and just brushed case back, but for LeJour quality and detail of the back are as important as of the front of their watches. A hammerhead shark is beautifully incorporated into the case back to match the model name. Model- and technical specifications are laser engraved around it. The lug to lug dimension of 48mm fits a variety of wrist sizes very well and the overall size is well balanced due to it's softly shaped and thoughtfully finished cushion case. The Hammerhead is a compelling dive watch of retro flair and vibe with enduring aesthetics that blends to a perfect daily wear timepiece Le Jour Hammerhead Lume Watchbandit 2 Le Jour Hammerhead clasp 2
