RZE debuts their lightest titanium watch yet, the Valour 38; a versatile automatic field watch at an accessible price point starting on Kickstarter in August 2022.
Celebrating their second anniversary and with the experience of five watch releases RZE watches uses the valuable experiences and customer feedback to launch a field watch. Combining the art of titanium watchmaking with the goal to produce durable and affordable timepieces.
As the name suggests, the Valor 38 has the same shape as the Valor Chronograph, just a little smaller in diameter. This case shape allows the watch to be recognized as an RZE at first glance. Listening to the community, the manufacturer has launched a smaller diameter as requested by many. This new case size is complimented by a clean, classic, field watch design.

Under an inner-coated AR sapphire crystal, there is a nicely made and finely printed matte dial. The Valour 38 comes in 5 different dial colors at launch.

With a thickness of just 11 mm and a compact 45 mm lug-to-lug, the titanium Valour 38 will wear comfortably on your wrist and slips smoothly beneath the sleeve of a tactical shirt. The Valour 38 comes with two different straps, an own designed single pass nylon strap, just one layered and a bit shorter, and an FKM rubber strap with quick release spring bars. The nylon strap gives the watch a more tactical feel and look. When you choose to go to the beach and water, the rubber strap is a perfect choice.

Perhaps the lightest automatic field watch on the market
Paired with the RZE nylon strap the Valour 38 only weighs 57 grams. Along with the small diameter, you barely notice the watch on your wrist while you can focus on your climbing way or narrow jungle path. The case is finished with a mix of satin and bead-blasted surfaces, showcasing the skilled "artisans’ mastery of aerospace titanium" capabilities of finishing. Furthermore, the case is preserved by the iconic, tried, and tested RZE UltraHex coating, which greatly increases the strength of the usually easily scratchable titanium surface. This special treatment makes the surface 8-times harder than stainless steel and prevents simple oxidation. Available in five crisp matte dials at launch beneath an inner-coated AR sapphire crystal, the Valour 38’s tech specs are far from pedestrian. Equipped with a screw-down crown and case-back, the watch is water resistant to 100m, so despite being so light that you may forget that you’re wearing anything at all, you won’t have to worry about protecting it from the elements on your adventures.
