Hercules Watches: Go Big or Go Home

Hercules, as its name might suggest, is a watch that aims to be bigger and bolder than other watches. While other watchmakers that design minimalist watches tend to make them small and subtle, the Hercules watch takes minimalism to a new level by accentuating the bold details of its extra-large watch case and dial. Its glow in the dark dial makes it even more bold and outstanding, its details combining to form a watch that will not be easily overlooked.

Opting to do it up big, the Hercules features a diameter of 50 millimeters and a thickness of 13 millimeters. The case is made from durable 316L grade stainless steel and impact-resistant mineral glass protects the Reverse Lumi style dial that has been fully coated with C1 luminous material for an illuminating finish. Inside of the watch rests the ultra reliable and precise Swiss Ronda 515 movement as the heart of the watch. Finishing off the watch is a sturdy, yet soft textile strap with a stainless steel buckle to match the case. The timepiece boasts 5 ATM water resistance.

The Hercules watch is currently being funded on the crowdfunding site, Kickstarter. At the time of writing, the watch campaign has raised $7,724 of its $18,094 goal with 8 days left to go. For a minimum pledge of $129, you can bring home your own Hercules watch at the end of the successful campaign.
