Zelos has been changing the way we tell time since the brand first emerged back in 2014. Their first design, the Helmsman launched on Kickstarter and generated 273 per cent of the micro brand’s funding goal. When they came back to Kickstarter with their Chroma and Abyss models, they managed to bring in 350 per cent and 650 per cent of the funding needed to introduce their new styles. Now, Zelos is ready to introduce their fourth timepiece–the Cosmos, a watch that is truly unlike anything in this world.
The Zelos Cosmos is a complete reinvention of the modern watch. The timepiece features disc hands that orbit around the center of the face of the watch like satellites in space. At the heart of the timepiece is a reliable Miyota automatic movement. The dial consists of four levels, two of which consist of sapphire glass. The markers seem to float on the face of the watch, giving it a unique three dimensional effect that is unlike anything we’ve seen before. The watch will be available in steel, rose gold and PVD blue finishes.
At the time this news piece was written, Zelos had already beaten their funding goal of $21,287, having raised $41,790 in funds on kickstarter to bring the Cosmos timepiece to market. There were still 11 days to go with a number of rewards left to be claimed, but judging on the success of previous campaigns, those rewards could go fast. Men who want to be the first to own a Zelos Cosmos watch must act fast!
