The OVAO MONZA was inspired by a passion for all things race cars. The timepiece is crafted by skilled Italian artisans that deliver an elegant class of watches built from high quality materials. They are sporty and sleek, nodding to Italian racing from the 70s and 80s and earning the title MONZA.
MONZA is made out of only top quality materials, including fiber-forged composite. This is a synthetic material produced alongside Lamborghini and Callaway Golf Company who used it in both their Sesto Elemento concept car as well as Diablo Octane drivers. It is one-third as dense as titanium but much stronger. Dazzling Amorphous diamonds are used for the numbers on the dial and it is water resistant up to 100 meters. This watch boasts a sapphire crystal backing and an automatic movement that takes its power from the movement of the wearer’s wrist.
The OVAO MONZA is currently being brought to life through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. As of the time of writing, they have raised $30,137, exceeding their goal of $10,977 with 5 days left to go. A pledge of $299 or more earns you a MONZA CORSA with a genuine Italian leather strap.
