India Agate is a mysteriously appealing gemstone. It has beautifully attractive colors while every single stone is unique in its color and one can even find multiple colors within a single gemstone. Agate is a variety of chalcedony formed from layers of quartz, which usually show varicolored bands. According to Greek legend, Agate was found by the river Achates – which is now called the Drillo River – located in Sicily.
