Spinnaker Watches – Amalfi – a tribute to Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula
The Amalfi series celebrates the glorious Amalfi coast along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula. As if magically suspended between the blue sky and iridescent seas of the Mediterranean, the Amalfi is an undisputable arena of nautical beauty. The Amalfi Diver Automatic pays some homage to its namesake with modern diver designed and built firmly within the spirit of Italian watchmaking design.
Maritime design language
Spinnaker watches are inspired by vintage- and modern diving watches, with a Super LumiNova® illuminated dial and a well readable typography. The dial surface reminds on the rough sea surface, deep eve-rose and blue colors give a maritime touch and the hands appear like sailing ships on the dial. The watch can be also perfectly combined with a WatchBandit Vintage Leather strap.
Japanese Precision Movement
The watch is driven by a Japanese Seiko TMI NH35 movement, which is known for its reliability and precision. It’s a movement that many watch manufactures like to use for their watches; It’s precise, tough and easy to repair. A 41 hours power-reserve, bi-directional winding rotor and a diashock shock-system makes it one of the world’s most popular automatic movements. It is widely used in many microbrand watches.
