Spinnaker Watches – Piccard – a tribute to the depths of the deep sea
The aim of the Piccard was to create a watch that had a distinct point of view. The imposing 47mm case diameter is a definite statement to deliver this. Crafted out of Titanium, the watch while hefty in dimension and size uses the lightweight yet solid properties to allow for a completely wearable timepiece. The bulbous domed scratch resistant sapphire lens creates a look that is quite remarkable. Offering up complete protection against the elements, it serves as a magnifying window to the dial underneath.
Maritime design language
Spinnaker watches are inspired by vintage- and modern diving watches, with a Super LumiNova® illuminated dial and a well readable typography. The dial surface reminds on the rough sea surface, deep eve-rose and blue colors give a maritime touch and the hands appear like sailing ships on the dial. The watch can be also perfectly combined with a WatchBandit Vintage Leather strap.
Japanese Precision Movement
The watch is driven by a Japanese Seiko TMI NH35 movement, which is known for its reliability and precision. It’s a movement that many watch manufactures like to use for their watches; It’s precise, tough and easy to repair. A 41 hours power-reserve, bi-directional winding rotor and a diashock shock-system makes it one of the world’s most popular automatic movements. It is widely used in many microbrand watches.
