Reverie Watches: A Dream Realized

Mechanical watches have largely been replaced by automatics, but men who are true lovers of horology still appreciate these traditional designs. In the past, those who wanted to own mechanical watches could expect to pay expensive prices, but a new watch brand, Reverie, is changing that with an affordable, but well-made line of mechanical designs.

Named after the word for ‘dream,’ Reverie is a dream realized. The brand was founded by watch lovers who had a vision of creating watches with a modern look that still relied on classic mechanical timekeeping systems. After years of research and months of development, the brand is now poised to launch their first collection of watches.

All Reverie timepieces have Japanese mechanical movement systems at their hearts. These high quality movements are made to stand the test of time. Each timepiece is developed by in-house designers working for the watch brand, which is based out of Singapore. To manufacture the watches for an affordable price, Reverie has partnered with top Asian factories. Their first release, the Sea-Spirit, features a guilloche dial that is meant to mimic the look of the waves rolling across the ocean.

Currently, Reverie watches are available for pre-order at the official online website of the micro watch brand. Their first design is being offered in Anchor Black and Deep Blue colors and retails for $420; however, for a limited time, the price has been reduced to $375. Both versions of the watch will be produced in limited runs of just 125, so those who wish to purchase one will need to act quickly.
