How many times have you looked at a timepiece from afar and admired it only to be sticker shocked when you see its cost up close or excitedly visited an online store only to be disappointed to find out that the price is exorbitant? Seamus Watch Co. is attempting to eliminate that watch letdown with a line of finely crafted, fashionable watches that are affordably priced.
Based in Singapore, the Seamus Watch Co. has developed what the brand refers to as “a gentleman’s watch,” a timepiece that is sophisticated, yet still very simple. The watches have a distinctive vintage look, thanks to their Roman numeral hour markers, unique hands and small second sub-dials.
The first line of watches that Seamus Watch Co hopes to bring to market is called the Alpha Series. There are three styles featured in the collection currently:
– The Alpha Day with a white dial and a brown crocodile embossed leather strap
– The Alpha Night with a black dial and a black crocodile embossed leather strap
– The Alpha Limited Edition with a blue dial and a brown crocodile embossed leather strap
The Seamus Watch Co is looking to bring their new line of timepieces to the market with the help of a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign had six days remaining when this blog post was written. At that time, 68 backers had contributed more than $11,000 against a goal of $30,822. Assuming that the campaign is successful, the Seamus Watch Co intends to ship watches sometime in January 2016.
