What do you get when you cross a pilot’s watch similar to the ones worn by Israeli fighter pilots during the 1970s with the aviator’s watches World War II fighter pilots buckled into place? The answer is something very stylish, the Tactico GEOMASTER GMT Watch for men.
Created by the Compañía Relojera Especializada para Actividades Subacuáticas of Zaragoza, Spain, the Tactico GEOMASTER has plenty of modern appeal but in a distinctly retro form. The watch features a turning minute tracker and can be used to track both the 12-hour and 24-hour time of a specific time zone aside from the main face. This makes the timepiece ideal for pilots and for those who travel frequently.
Adding to the appeal of the Tactico GEOMASTER GMT Watch is the fact that it is a true limited edition timepiece. The Compañía Relojera Especializada para Actividades Subacuáticas only intends to produce 88 of the timepieces and has made them available for advance purchase through a Kickstarter campaign. Powered by a Swiss ETA 2893-3 caliber timekeeping mechanism, the watch is earning rave reviews from many publications and watch fan sites due to its impressive quality and distinctive style.
At the time this blog post was written, Tactico had less than 2 days remaining on their Kickstarter campaign and had earned $24,165 toward their goal of $28,819. There were still a number of the limited edition timepieces that could be claimed, so it will be interesting to see just how the campaign finishes out.
