What if a watch could inspire you to chase your dreams? Yes Man Watches is a brand that seeks to do just that. Their simple, yet stylish design features a logo set at 5 o’clock, symbolizing the time when a man gets off of work from his 9 to 5 routine and is free to pursue his dreams unfettered.
If the look of Yes Man Watches don’t fill you with the urge to break out of the mould and pursue your dreams, the story of the company’s founding is sure to. The company began with the vision of a 19-year-old student from San Diego, California.
Even though he was only a freshman in college, Nathan Resnick decided to put his passion for watches to use and launch his own brand. Instead of seeking out investors, he went directly to watch lovers, launching a Kickstarter campaign in hopes of raising $15,000. Yes Man Watches beat their goal within just three days and went on to raise more than double the funds needed for the launch.
Currently, the Yes Man Watches collection includes two styles: the Original Navy on White and the Original Black on Black. Both timepieces sell for just $149 and can be purchased directly from Yes Man Watches on their official website. The brand is also on the verge of completing their second Kickstarter campaign for The Shot Caller Watch, which is set to be released in August 2015. At the time of writing, the campaign had exceeded goals by more than $7,000 with 4 days still to go.
