Product Description – PIONEER MonoScope
The Hanhart PIONEER MonoScope is a pioneering homage to the brand’s iconic single-pusher chronographs of the 1930s. Inspired by the legendary naval chronographs of that era, this timepiece merges historical authenticity with modern engineering. Housed in a robust 45 mm stainless steel case, the MonoScope features a single push-button that controls all chronograph functions - start, stop, and reset - in a strict sequence. This distinctive complication, requiring a special cam modification and gearshift mechanism, underscores Hanhart’s commitment to mechanical precision.
A key visual feature is the dial’s unique layout: the small seconds and 30-minute counter are widely spaced and placed on the dial’s periphery, evoking the 15.5-line manufacture calibers of early Hanhart chronographs. These elements form a straight vertical axis across the dial, maintaining a perfectly symmetrical and vintage-inspired aesthetic. With its exceptional design, historical lineage, and collector’s appeal, the PIONEER MonoScope is more than a timepiece - it is a statement of mechanical heritage and purposeful design, ideal for enthusiasts of traditional chronograph craftsmanship.
