PIONEER One – A Modern Classic with Historical Roots
The Hanhart PIONEER One pays tribute to one of the most iconic pilot’s chronographs of the 1950s: the legendary 417 ES. While the original was a flyback chronograph built for the German Air Force, the PIONEER One reimagines its design as a time-only model, combining vintage character with modern technology. The design of the dial, numerals, and cathedral hands closely mirrors the historic 417 ES, while the absence of a chronograph function results in a clean and balanced look. Super-LumiNova® on the hands and Arabic numerals ensures excellent legibility in low light, keeping the utilitarian spirit of a pilot’s tool watch alive. With a stainless steel case measuring 42 mm in diameter and 12 mm in height, the PIONEER One offers robust yet comfortable wearability. It is paired with Hanhart’s signature riveted leather strap to emphasize its vintage military look. A domed sapphire crystal and automatic movement inside make this watch a reliable companion for everyday adventures. The PIONEER One stands as a refined entry point into the world of Hanhart – a watch built for today, with the soul of the 1950s.You may also like…
