The Bucintoro 42 pays tribute to Venetian grandeur, named after the Doge’s ceremonial galley that opened the historic Regata Storica. Much like its namesake, this chronograph unites sporting precision and timeless elegance — a true statement of Italian craftsmanship and mechanical excellence.
At its core beats the Seiko NE88 automatic chronograph movement, one of the finest mechanical calibers produced by Seiko. Hand-assembled at the Grand Seiko facilities in Morioka, Japan, the NE88 features a column wheel and vertical clutch for flawless chronograph engagement, eliminating the “jumping hand” effect and ensuring silky-smooth operation.
Refined yet robust, the Bucintoro’s 42 mm stainless steel case, double-domed sapphire crystal, and 100 m water resistance make it the perfect companion for those who appreciate performance with a touch of tradition.
