Kronhauser Dark Blue Sunburst + Strap Guide

The dark blue sunburst dial of the Kronhauser watch is mesmerizing; In some situations it's almost black and in moments of light and especially sun light, the dial is bursting in shiny dark blue (which you can see in the collection of wristshots in the strap guide at the end of this post). The classic polished 40mm stainless steel case design with a height of 11mm and its flowing lines contrasts with the narrow-edged, cylindrical case bezel surrounding the large sunburst dial. As a significant design feature, the magnifying glass makes the date appear large and clear. The lengths of the hands are particularly long and harmonize with the overall design and guarantee good readability of the watch. The hour and minute hands taper towards the end and close with an isosceles triangle. The lugs seem to flow out of the case body, which gives the watch an elegant look. The logo of the the German name Kronhauser, a stylized crown consisting of six little houses, is embossed on the crown of the case. The colors of the brushed dial shimmer in night-blue or silver opaline and gives the watch a great sunburst effect. It harmonizes with the colors of the hands and numerals in Old Radium or blue. The dial of the Dark Blue Sunburst was given a radial polish and then galvanized in a night blue. The hands and numerals gleam in Luminova “Old Radium” – and in a luminous yellow green in the darkness. The watch features a 5-bar watertightness, which makes it withstand splashes, shower. It is not suitable for water sports or diving. Kronhauser Blue Sunburst Dial
