Baltic Watches are inspired by the raw, natural beauty that is to be found in the throes of the Baltic Sea. Traditional yet modern in style, these watches are created by a family of timepiece enthusiasts who loves traditionally crafted watches. They know that the best of the timeless watches out there are minimalistic by design, yet they have noticed a trend in other watch brands creating modern watches with too much complexity.
Baltic Watches prefers to focus on the pure aspects of watchmaking styles to manifest vintage inspired, yet contemporary watches for your collection. Each timepiece is handcrafted in France, inspired by the 1940s designs that have mechanical movements and features striking cases with distinctive ridges that surround the Plexy glass raised dome.
The Baltic timepieces consist of 38-millimeter casings that are made from ultra durable 316L stainless steel that is dazzling and shiny. Covering the top of the crisp, yet elegant minimalist dial is a stable, Hesalite glass dome that protects the leaf design three-hand movement of the watch face. One of two movements is used inside of their watches: either an Automatic Miyota 821A movement or a Manual Wind Caliber Seagull STI901 movement. They also offer two straps choices for their watches, a genuine calf leather or a genuine Italian calf leather.
As of the time of writing, Baltic Watches are being funded on the crowdfunding website, Kickstarter. Currently, Baltic Watches have reached their goal of $70,907, raising a total of $459,290 with 19 days remaining in their fundraiser. For a minimum pledge of $299, you can receive one of their striking timepieces when the campaign is complete, which is tentatively scheduled for November of 2017.
