Zelos – Helmsman SS – Crystal Ti

The Helmsman was our first ever design launched on Kickstarter and it was envisioned as a “dress diver” to set ourselves apart from the multitude of divers available from other microbrands. After the 10th Anniversary release in Titanium last year, the Helmsman is now available in stainless steel, offering a more accessible lineup with a variety of colorways to suit every taste.

The sleek case of the Helmsman has downward sloping lugs to hug your wrist, with overall thickness of the case coming in at only 11.5mm. Cutouts are CNC machined to break up the slab sides of the case, further reducing visual bulk. A fully brushed ‘beads of rice’ bracelet is the perfect pairing, giving the Helmsman a versatile look that works just as well with a wetsuit as it does with a blazer.

Colorways include classics like the meteorite dial with matching bezel and the fully lumed ‘Frost’ in BGW9. The ‘MOP’ stands out with a vibrant orange fume dial and black mother-of-pearl bezel, while the teal ‘Tidal’ features a glossy enamel finish over a wave dial pattern. For a classic look, the ‘Midnight’ offers a deep black enamel dial with high-contrast lume. The ‘Crystal Ti’ is the first to showcase a CNC guilloché pattern on crystallized titanium, a challenging process due to the material’s hardness and unpredictable grain.
