Miró Watches

Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miró was known for his unique vision, taking surrealism into a distinct new direction with pared down, minimalist renderings. The artist’s work has influenced countless others, including those outside of the art world. In fact, the designers behind the Miró timepiece collection were so inspired by the artist’s distinctive style that they named their watch brand in his honor.

The Miró timepiece collection was created as an answer to the designers’ own personal concerns when it came to selecting men’s watches. They were unable to find watches that spoke to their taste for minimalistic modern design. The timepieces made by top brands were too bulky or their faces were too cluttered with markers and embellishments to suit their tastes, so the designers decided to create their own line of men’s watches to be unlike any others on the market.

At first glance, you can see how the minimalistic vision of the designers of Miró watches has been brought to life. The dials of the watches feature simple stick indices and minute tracks and slender hands with vibrant red second hands for a touch of boldness. Dials come in basic colors, including black, creme and grey, and cases are plated in either brushed gold or silver tones. The Miró collection includes bands made of premium leather in Honey, Chocolate, Nature tan and Black and in silver and gold-toned mesh. You can shop the collection here at WatchBandit, an officially licensed dealer of Miró luxury men’s watches.
